Your Jacket's The Bomb ft One One Three

If there's one brand I'm crazy about, it's One One Three. I had the pleasure of watching their first fashion show a couple of years ago, loved everything then it all went a bit quiet. Now they are well and truly back with a bang and I couldn't be happier! Their clothing is completely my style and has some serious attitude.

One One Threes first main collection was ballsy, with a grunge twist. Lots of black, tartan and mesh. This year it's gone a little softer and added some beautiful pastels and lighter fabrics in to the mix and when asked to choose an item, it had to be a jacket. It's not often I fall in love with jackets as I prefer layering my clothes as I constantly feel trapped and claustrophobic. But this year I've embraced jackets. ALL the jackets!!

This almost rose gold-esque bomber jacket  is jersey lined and is so soft and comfortable that I want to sleep in it.

I feel like a badass Pink Lady.

I'm now eagerly awaiting the restock of this top to wear with it.

Have you checked their new range out? You won't be disappointed x

Lifes A Beach ft Simply Be Pastel PU

Waking up on a Sunday morning with the sun shining through the curtains, there really was only one place that I wanted to be. At the beach.
Packing the kids into the car and heading off down the motorway to the coast for the day, was exactly what I needed to get over my holiday blues that I had been suffering with, since returning from Spain the previous week.

Now, I was under no illusion that it would be warm. It's still merely Spring afterall so  I knew a jacket was a must have. And what better jacket on such a bright day than my pastel green biker jacket from Simply Be.

I let the colour of the jacket make its own statement and wore it over a simple outfit of acid wash jeggings, a white top and some plain pumps. And not forgetting sunglasses as it was sunny!
I just love this jacket. I did size up as it runs a little small. The sleeves have zips to allow some extra room which is such a cute little touch. The PU material of this jacket is also super soft, unlike some of the stiffer style of biker jackets on the market.

On Wednesdays we look Wild ft Simply Be and New Look

My outfit today has left me feeling ALL the sassiness.

I had spotted this leopard print midi skirt on the Simply Be home page a few weeks ago and was gutted there was a wait for it to come back in stock. Ordered it anyway and was prepared to wait. To my surprise it arrived weeks before I was expecting it and I couldn't wait to pair with my new New Look top and jacket, to create the perfect outfit that I had envisaged in my head.

The pull on style skirt was bigger and longer than I had anticipated but it actually works. I like that it's not too clingy and snug.
The swing top, peep toe boots and suedette waterfall jacket are featured in a previous post and were gifted to me by New Look.
I finished the look with a chiffon headscarf and my gold lion head necklace from H&M x

Jumping Into Autumn

I've accepted the fact that summer is well and truly over and have started to add some key new pieces into my wardrobe for Autumn. Today I'm wearing this patterned jumpsuit from Simply Be and can be found here.

I'm really loving leaf print this year and this jumpsuit is covered in beautiful, autumnal colours.
The fit itself is spot on. For me, at 5'4, fits me in the leg just right. I often find that having a long body and short legs that they can be too long and can make me look like I'm wearing pyjamas or the cuff of the leg sits too high and bunches up at my crotch(!) The material is light and ultra stretchy, perfect for days when you just need comfort. Also the waistband sits in a perfect spot. Another bonus to this jumpsuit? It has pockets!

Shoes are old Primark
PU jacket from F+F

I may just have to add a few more jumpsuits in to my wardrobe this season, before it gets too nippy and you have to do the dreaded half naked toilet trip!

Shopping the Sales in Boohoo

Feeling either brave or stupid or just a bit of both, I ventured to my local shopping centre for a spot of sale shopping.
Blog post to follow with what I bought so here's what I wore.

This is the Little Black Dress t shirt dress from the Boohoo Plus range, worn with a jacket from Boohoo that I have blogged about previously. This dress is just the comfiest thing. I feel like I'm wearing a nightshirt! Stretchy jersey, it's a go to piece whenever I lack enthusiasm to put together an outfit. Worn over Dorothy Perkins leggings and boots.

Feeling Tropical in Pink Clove

I think I'm grieving the loss of summer right now and I simply can't get enough of bright prints. So when asked to choose an item from Pink Clove there was one item that immediately caught my eye.
This beautiful tropical print bomber Jacket

It's super comfortable and lightweight and goes with so many outfits! I'm all for layers as I often get hot too easily.
I wore it on a recent long journey and teamed it with a clashing print and my newly coloured hair. I LOVE this outfit. I'm bringing tropical goodness to these rainy, dull days!
