Double Denim ft Lovedrobe

No doubt you've seen the current trend of embroidered everything. Well I hadn't really paid much attention to half of it as I didn't really feel it was for me. Wrong! I now absolutely love it!

Lovedrobe kindly gifted me an item of my choice and I decided to go for this gorgeous embroidered denim shirt to challenge myself in wearing it slightly different than that safe option of just worn over leggings. 

 

 

Double the denim; double the fun!

This shirt is not only super lightweight but also quite long. I could easily wear this over a simple strappy dress or even swimwear in the summer. 

But for this look, I tied the shirt up and teamed it with my new jeans (sale find from Very).

I loved the beautiful embroidery feature on the front and across the back. Sizewise, it runs small. I ordered a size up to make sure it was oversized and comfy but should of gone up by 2. That said, it still looks fab and no doubt will wear it again and again.

A Babe in the Woods with Lovedrobe

 

There's something so soul warming about walking through the woods in the Autumn. It's my ultimate favourite month with my wedding anniversary, beautiful colours and those festive feelings building up towards Christmas.

When Lovedrobe offered to send me a little Autumnal blouse, who was I to refuse?!

 

This stunning mustard coloured blouse is slightly sheer, perfect for layering up and has the most beautiful pleated back. I've not owned anything like this and can see me wearing it through to Spring quite easily. 

 

 

I teamed mine with a simple pull on skirt, tights and over knee boots.

What a Winner!

This month I was super happy to of won an Instagram giveaway from the ultra cool brand Carnakoma (found Here) And what a prize!

An oversized shirt in slate grey leopard print that is long in length and dipped at the back. I was instantly in love. I teamed it with Yours Clothing Tummy control leggings, plastic chain necklace from Topshop and chunky boots from Primark. Perfect for a date night.

Same Size, Different Shape

Today is the start of a new blogger challenge. We are a group of girls that are all the same size but different shapes and we fashion the same item of clothing in our own way. This month is skinny jeans.

These jeans are the super stretchy type. I hate feeling restricted but these are just right. I've lost a little weight so these are a bit looser than I like. Cheap and cheerful at £12 from Asda. I wore it with a black vest, white top both from Primark, shirt dress from Simply Be and studded pumps from Topshop.
